Mônica Moura is a mixed media animator from São Paulo, Brazil.
In 2014 she was accepted to the University of São Paulo (USP) in the Visual Arts program. While in college she engaged in an academic research about pre-cinema devices titled Representation and Reality. Her graduation thesis was the mixed media animated short film (OvO). She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Multimedia.
In May 2024 she graduated from the Experimental Animation MFA program at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia/CA with the film A Festa.
